• I double click on the <earshot> installer and nothing happens?

The <earshot> installer requires a Java Runtime Environment to work. If nothing happens you need to ensure that you have installed a Java Runtime Environment. Mac users should install MRJ 2.2 from here.
PC users should choose the "with VM" <earshot> installer.

• I have successfully installed <earshot> but when I start it up why do I get a dialog box with a QuickTime installation problem alert?

Ensure that you have the correct version of QuickTime installed (we recommend running Quicktime 5; <earshot> does not work with QuickTime 6). You must also ensure that QuickTime for Java is installed by choosing the 'custom' option during the QuickTime installation and clicking on QuickTime for Java.
